We are a small Nepali software studio exploring whether to build a period tracker app. Nothing here is a promise, a promotion, or advice. We are asking questions to understand real needs. If we decide to build, waitlist respondents will hear from us — but we may also decide not to build. Either outcome is fine.

What we're thinking about

Actually built for Nepal.

Nepali language throughout, Bikram Sambat calendar, and eSewa / Khalti–ready payments — the basics most global apps skip entirely.

Optional partner sharing.

If — and only if — you want, your partner can see what you choose to share. You control everything and can turn it off anytime.

Festival planning, if you observe.

For those who observe Hindu festivals like Teej, Rishi Panchami, or Dashain, the app could show if your period might overlap. Only enabled if you turn it on. Off by default.

A comfort box, if you want one.

Pads, chocolate, tea, small comforts — delivered monthly, or sent by someone abroad who wants to take care of you from a distance.

Everything a good tracker should have.

Cycle and ovulation predictions, flow, cramps, mood, energy, sleep, and a PCOS/PCOD-friendly mode for cycles that don't fit a calendar — plus reminders that don't nag and insights you can share with a doctor. No ads, no paywalls on the core.

Private by default.

App lock, local-first storage, full data export, and one-tap account deletion. Your cycle data is yours.

About festivals — being honest

Most Nepali women who ask for festival planning are Hindu — tradition ties practices like avoiding temple visits or fasting to menstruation, especially around Teej.

If you're Hindu

The feature would support observances like Teej, Rishi Panchami, Dashain, Tihar, Chhath, Swasthani, and Shivaratri.

If you're Muslim

We could show Ramadan dates, in case that's personally useful to you.

If you're Buddhist, Christian, or don't observe

You'd never see festival features at all. Nothing is turned on by default.

We are not endorsing or promoting any religious practice. We're trying to build a tool that respects however you choose to live your life. If you observe strictly, flexibly, or not at all — the app is a calendar, not a rulebook.

For the person who cares about her

If she chooses to share with you, you'd know when her period is coming and how she's feeling. You could send her a comfort delivery — pads, chocolate, tea — before she asks. Only if she opts in. We want your thoughts too.

Built by a small team in London and Kathmandu — including one husband who realized he didn't know when his wife's period was coming.

Not yet. We're deciding whether to build it. Your input helps decide.

Is my data private?+

Yes. Responses go to our team only, are not sold, and are used only for research. We'll delete on request — email info@pahadilabs.dev.

Are you promoting a religion?+

No. Festival features exist because women asked for them. They'd be off by default and optional in the app.

Who is Pahadi Labs?+

A Nepal-registered software studio building products for Nepalis, at home and abroad. Our first product, KrishiPatro, is a Nepali-language farming advisor already used by smallholder farmers. Saathi is our second.

Will you spam me?+

No. If you left contact info, we may email once when we make a build/no-build decision. That's it.
